One of Canada’s finest galleries, the Beaverbrook Art Gallery provides an ideal venue to experience an international art collection. A gift to the people of New Brunswick from Lord Beaverbrook (Sir Max Aitken), the Beaverbrook Art Gallery houses a major collection of Canadian, British and international masterworks spanning several centuries, including some of Atlantic Canada’s finest artists. The Gallery also hosts temporary and touring exhibitions.

What can we offer?

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery welcomes the use of its facilities by members and by guests and supporters wishing to host receptions, lectures, and other events. Events ranging in size from 20 to 350 guests can be accommodated, depending on event type and space availability.

Members are entitled to discounts on the room rental fee of 10% for corporate friends, 15% for corporate patrons, and 20% for corporate benefactors.

Facilities and Resources

Liquor License: As a licensed facility, we can provide bar service for events as required, and may be able to special-order stock customized to your event.

Equipment: Special events equipment such as audio-visual equipment, lecture podiums and PA system, tables, chairs, and linens are available on-site and are coordinated, set up, and cleaned up by our staff.

Programs and Tours: As a public gallery committed to “Enriching Life through Art”, we are happy to take advantage of our exhibitions and facilities to offer extras such as docent-led guided tours, art workshops, and other programming to facility users interested in something extra for the enjoyment of their guests. Talented instructors allow us to offer a variety of art workshops and projects for any age group, and can accommodate groups of up to 20 participants at a time.
