This September at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery is packed full of art classes, lectures, and presentations for all ages! While calendars may be marked for the pavilion opening in October, there is still plenty of programming this month, and new exhibitions to look forward to. Exhibitions Changing
Canadian Mosaic and Masterworks: Homecoming exhibitions both close as of September 11.

Then, new exhibitions will open to the public on September 23 – stay tuned for more information.

pARTage
Third Sunday of the month, 3-5pm
This free program brings artists and guests together in French-language conversations about art and creativity. Presentations may include everything from lectures and readings to musical and dance performances, and more!

Scotiabank Artist Residency Program
Marlene Creates is this year’s Artist in Residence; join us for the panel discussion (Sept. 24), artist talk (Sept. 28), and afternoon drop-in opportunities to chat with the artist September 25th through 29th.

Artist Talk
September 28, 7pm

Thursday Night Art Class
Thursdays, 7-9 pm. Ages 16 and up.
Adults of all skill levels create and learn with local artists and educators in this ongoing series of drop-in friendly sessions.
Instructor in September/October: Marcus Kingston.

Art for Tots
Fridays, 10-10:45 am. Ages 2 to 5, with parents.
Art making, gallery visits, games and storytelling for our youngest creative minds (and fun for parents too)! These short workshops with instructor Christina Thomson are geared for the very young (ages 2-5) accompanied by a parent.
Artist of the month: Lynn Chadwick

Family Art Workshops
Second and last Sunday of the month, 2-4 pm. 
Art discoveries and creative projects for the whole family – take home a project and memories after each session! Join teacher and artist Roberte Melanson for a family adventure in various art techniques and styles.
